BEAUTIFUL MESS
Tells the story of how many of us as individuals are “Suffering in Silence.” We look good on the external, but inside we are slowly decaying.
She wonders if anybody can see through her external beauty into her soul where the child in her resides. She’s in there crying for help but she knows that nobody sees.
She carries on with her day and continues to show up for the world, hoping that someone one day will see her. She is on a journey within, here she discovers how to not try to find love outside of herself. She learns to love herself, and that even in darkness “Rainbows still shine at Night.”
RAINBOWS STILL SHINE AT NIGHT
Showcases how Beautiful that even in the darkest times in our life we can still see Rainbows reflect off the Power of Light.
Although we can’t see it, that doesn’t mean that something beautiful doesn’t lie in the darkness.
This painting reminds us of the beauty that we all have inside of us that can continue to shine bright even in the darkest times of our lives and helps us to get better, not bitter
ELECTRIC
is a part of the “Rainbow Still Shine at Night Series.
It showcases a sliver of light like the crescent moon. Delivering a sliver of hope in the midst of darkness.
It reminds us that even though we don’t see the full moon, we know that it’s still there hidden in the Shadows of darkness.
This painting reminds us how connected we are to Earth, Wind, Fire, Water, and Ether and if we remain grounded, we would ignite and recharge and become Electric.
These Elements along with the electricity that forms within us blooms into something beautiful and bright as we continue to connect through the power of Love.
FREEDOM TO LOVE
Is a person that is unbiased towards External Programming.
We can all find ourselves in involuntarily circumstances that can force us to be unloving and judgmental.
She realizes that “Love is the Glue” and that if she releases these low vibrational programs, her Heart Will become full again and be ready to love again.
So much so that she’s overflowing with Love with every word that comes out of her mouth.
She is now radiant with love on the inside where her true garden of Eden reside.
That it overflows even as it’s depicted in her hair. She is at peace within where she calls “HOME”.
BALANCE
is a mixed media piece and painting of where you’re Yin and your Yang, your Black or your White, or your Masculine or Feminine side, your so called Good and Evil, deed’s learns how to coexist
This is the war that goes on inside all of us.
It’s when you realize that it is the necessary contrast that brings us into the ultimate balance within and begin to accept the qualities of a them both.
Then you see the necessary contrast that serves as a mirror where we can learn how to balance them both so they can become allies.
This is where you no longer have inner war and develop the acceptance that they both are necessary to counter balance, each other.
From this space, the Heart is full of Love to overflowing, and you begin to blossom from a caterpillar to a butterfly, and begin to illuminate the world as you become balanced within.
I HAVE MORE TO SAY
exhibits the silencing of those that truly have something to say in this world.
Something that may not always be comfortable, or popular.
However, having a mandate to address things that needs to be addressed no matter the cost.
This painting is for the ones that feel unheard. It is a place where you feel silenced, unseen, and overlooked.
As you see there is a whirlwind going on within this person but a solid map that leads to the peace within.
However, you also can see there is many routes that could be taken that can get us off track by people pleasing
This painting represents finding your voice that leads back to your authentic self and where you’re able to help others do the same by finding your path to inner peace.

If you look closer to this painting, you will see beyond the abstract, beautiful piece.
If you look deeper, you will see that something is hidden underneath. It takes a discerning eye to see it.
However, if you look close, it really is hidden in plain sight.
Sometimes we are distracted by the beauty of things that we don’t take the time to look beneath the surface and find what’s hiding beneath.
This painting shows us how surface we all can be even when it is hidden right in plain sight.
UNDER THE MOON
After attending a concert at a local park for much of the day, Everyone began to pick up their things to leave. They decided to enjoy the Magnetic Radiance of the Moon and Twilight Sky. They Embraced the Rainbow that Shined over them; even at Night.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
The Essence of Shy's work is simple. It tells life stories we can't always say out loud through mixed media art pieces.
ShaYAH ASha {Shy} have been an Artist since her youth. After an inspiring trip to New York City 5 years ago. Her talent was rekindled, and she picked up a sketchbook and went to work as if she never stopped.
Shy has been an Artist for over 39 years. Her Creative Gifts have spoken for itself in many expressions across all Artistry formats including, Interior Design; Commercial and Residential, Culinary, Clothing Design, the Beauty Industry, Gardening, Refurbishing Furniture, Photography, Jewelry and Accessories, and Mixed Media Art Pieces
In 2024, Shy was able to Showcase 4 of pieces at a private Event which turned out to be a huge success.
Shy is proud to have had an opportunity to showcase at a Gallery in Norcross, Ga. 2024
However, Shy's most favorite setting is showcasing at her private Popups Exhibits, where she's able to control the narrative and tell her own story behind the work.
These small settings are intimate and allow for others to be able to express their interpretations as well, which creates wonderful dialogue and expands the Essence of her work and Community.
Shy believes that where words can't be spoken. The art speaks louder. Therefore, she tells stories behind every piece that can reach many audiences and lifestyles.
